It has air brakes but don't let that scare you because it is only a simple 1 day course to get the air endorsment. A very unique feature on this truck is that is has a 2 spd axle shift on it. The custom deck is about 104" long total and is EXTREMELY well built steel deck that is designed to pull ALL STYLES of trailers. Built into the heavy tail skirt is a 2 1/2" reciever that can have any style hitch used. The deck is built to pull with 2 5/16 , 30,000 lb ball or as shown in photos with the Binkley 5th wheel plate. The safety chain loops sit flush with deck so they are completly out of the way when not used. On both sides of the deck in front of the rear wheels there is a storage box for all your needs.
The entire design and build of the deck is very heavy duty and practical , built much stronger than any other rigging I know of. Each deck we build is unique as no 2 are ever built exactly the same. This is a custom built unit for a movie support company in BC. We built it with a very low profile deck to meet the max 42 inch deck height required. This truck also has a unique rear hitch assembly that is interchangeable with other receivers so any configuration of trailer can be towed. SOLD UNIT # 765
This was our unit #765. It is a truck we custom built and sold to a company from Sundrie , Alberta. It featured a steel deck and hydraulic winch with wood decking. The 5th wheel is removable. An alternative 30,000 lb , 2 5/16” ball mounts in the deck for pulling the ball style gooseneck trailers. Included in the HD tail skirt and bumper is a 2 1/2” reciever where you can add any hitch you need.
As all of our custom trucks, it was fully serviced. Interior was upgraded. We built the custom front bumper. It had a fresh CVIP for the new owner and much, much more.
CUSTOM BUILT SOLD TRUCK
This was our unit #769. A beautiful 2005 Freightler M2 quad cab that we totally reconditioned into this eye catching truck. As is all our trucks every one is a bit different and unique in its own way.
Interior was all redone with the 5 air ride bucket seats. Modifications were done to accomadate all aluminum Alco wheels. New tires. New CVIP. Fully serviced. @ spd rear axle with the automatic transmission.
The rear diff was rolled back about 40 inches and the suspension softened up for smooth ride.
The deck was 12 ft , all steel with 3/16 checker plate surface. Again it has our standard HD towing features with 3 different hitch’s and this one has a full width tail skirt. Naturally it can be simply used as deck truck. All our decks have side rails with pockets.
Mercedes turbo diesel pre emision engine, Allison automatic 5 spd trans, 2 spd rear diff, low profile 22.5 rubber. 12,000 lb rated front axle and 21,000 lb rated rear axle. Lights all converted to LED.
